Implementation Services - Sustainability Workshop

Bottom line results, sustainability, self-sufficiency, and ongoing improvement aer important deliverables of a properly done TOC implementation. During the course of every implementation, Internal Experts take on increasingly more responsibility for these deliverables while the AGI facilitator operates more and more in a mentor role.

In order to make this leadership transition as smooth as possible, team members need to be given the tools to deal effectively with the problems they will encounter along the way.

These tools are taught in the Sustainability Workshop, which typically occurs several months into an implementation. The goals of the workshop are:

  1. to provide a valuable forum for the implementation team to regroup and find solutions to ongoing implementation and execution issues
  2. to teach team members how to apply the TOC Day-To-Day Problem Solving Tools through their application to current problems, and
  3. to create a systematic framework that will help to institutionalize the process of ongoing improvement as part of the organization's culture.
The Workshop duration is five to six not necessarily contiguous days where participants apply the TOC Day-to-Day Problem Solving Tools to resolving conflicts, providing constructive feedback, aligning authority and responsibility, effective delegation, team synchronization and evaluating business and technical alternatives.
